How do you create a welcoming home?

For me the key to a welcoming home is to let your personality shine through your home. People feel welcome and comfortable when they discover a home full of character that tells the story of its owner. For me this is the most welcoming home.

How do you welcome your guests when throwing a party?

I love hosting friends and serving delicious homemade treats and drinks. I have a small home bar and love to mix up cocktails for my guests and prepare savory and sweet treats to make people relax, enjoy, laugh, eat and drink.

What is your best tip when decorating an entryway?

I think it is the best place to make a great statement - after all, this is the first room your guests will see! Make them feel welcome but also show them what you love! It can be really simple: maybe a great piece of design, an art piece or a dramatic runner rug to draw your guests in.

You use Skruvad in your bedroom. Why did you choose this product?

I wanted to get a bit more of order into my bedroom especially for when you change your clothes. I have a nice chair in the bedroom, but I didn't want to throw clothes on it. The Skruvad coat rack came as a perfect solution to this issue - it keeps my clothes organized and looks very stylish with its playful and cool design.

What details did a "mute servant" have to have in order to fit into the bedroom?

It has to match the overall interior style of the room. I found the Skruvad coat rack perfectly matching in my room with black and graphic details - it sort of harmonizes with the Brazilian concretist art and the sculptural bedside lamps as well as the black chair. I think it's a winning combination!
